This beautiful and delicate pitcher and bowl set were given to Judi's mom by her mom. Judi's mom gave it to her and Judi has treasured and protected it for many years. The pitcher is about 4" tall.
Most of the time I just don't see things the same way others do. I think that is why I like HDR photography so much. LYLE

Shootout at S&P
I gave this little Cowboy to my mother when I was 6 years old (about 66 years ago). When she passed away she had put a note on it to give it back to me. It is one of my favorite treasures.
Kolob Canyon
This is a view of Kolob Canyon in Southern Utah. Judi and I went for a nice hike there and the sky and clouds were so pretty I just had to capture it.

Gnarled Tree
It had been a dark and stormy night, I had been unable to sleep so I found myself wandering the streets of a strange city. I came upon a very lovely building with a gnarled tree blocking my way. I wasn't sure if it was reality or just a dream. I accepted my fate and took a picture of it. It was real.
Rose Petals
The petals of a white rose with red edges was the subject matter of this photo essay. I has a lot of fun getting these "just right". I used two flashlights to get the light on them the way I wanted it.
White Flowers
A white Carnation represents Love, a white Lily represents Purity and a white Rose stands for a New Start. I was just thinking about depicting the life of the Savior in flowers, so much more but this was a fun start.

Glowing rose.
Shooting with a 2" homemade extension tube and a 24-120 lens on a Nikon D750 camera I was trying to capture a close up of a yellow rose. I had the ISO at 640, +2 exposure value, aperture priority, a window open beside the flower, room lights on, and two flashlights on the subject. It is very difficult to get enough light to focus the camera and it still gave me this very soft focus.
