This is a photo of the steps of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone. It is very difficult to capture all of the detail of these steps without using HDR. But I also love the dynamic range of this type of photography along with the creative aspect it offers.
Most of the time I just don't see things the same way others do. I think that is why I like HDR photography so much. LYLE

Big Cottonwood Rapids
I went up in the mountains this morning (retired now, you know) just below the trail head to Lake Blanch. This is a 5 shot HDR of what I saw. It was so nice to not be in a hurry to do anything and just enjoy the surroundings. Judi was at work so I was able to take my time at each spot. LYLE

Farmington Bay
In a rather uncharacteristic move, this photo is completely untouched (except for the signature). I did not even try to straighten and crop it, it is just the way I shot it. The sunset was incredible, every shot was a wonder. You just could not look in any direction and not see this wonderful beauty. LYLE

Logan's Gates
This wonderful view of the Logan, Utah temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints seems to beckon one to enter and enjoy the tranquil setting of this magnificent building.
Logan Fountain View
The fountain at the Logan, UT temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides the foreground for this photo of the temple.

Moroni Through the Trees
Not a really great photo, but a great subject. It is really hard to get a fresh new composition of the Salt Lake Temple, I have taken so many. Still a wonderful feeling as I see it almost every day.
