 Another view of the Kirtland temple which is now owned by the Community of Christ. It was built by early Latter-day Saint pioneers.

It was said that angels were seen on the roof during the dedication of this beautiful pioneer temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I thought for a moment that we were seeing them again.

The Sacred Grove

 This stand of trees near Palmyra, NY is the site where young Joseph Smith retired to pray. During this prayer a remarkable vision opened and Joseph was able to communicate directly with God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. We don't know the exact spot where this vision took place, just somewhere in this grove of trees. Joseph was just 14 years of age, but was to become the Prophet and founder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
